Dr Shash Patel was born in the UK and grew up in NZ,where he did his schooling in Auckland and then went to the University of Otago to complete his training to become a Dental Surgeon.
He is the founder of Absolute Dental and has been passionate about developing Dental clinics that are family friendly. His motto has always been that “all patients should be treated as family”
Dr Patel literally loves putting a smile on peoples faces. He is passionate about restoring a wonderful smile and spends a great deal of his time creating beautiful smile make overs.
He is married to Achla who is a registered nurse and they have three beautiful daughters, Shivani, Priya and Nishali. In his spare time, Dr Patel does a lot of voluntary work including; being a trustee on the board of trustees for John Paul College, President of the Bay Of Plenty Indian Association, a Justice of the Peace and other voluntary activities.
Dentistry for Dr Patel has to be fun and enjoyable for him and his patients.
